Christmas Tree Collection - Began Monday, January 8 - Public Works

Starting Monday, January 8, 2018, the Public Works Department will begin picking up natural Christmas trees in all sections of Town. Residents must have Christmas ready trees to be picked up at the curbside no later than Sunday, January 7, 2018.

Trees must be clean of ornaments, bows, tinsel, etc.  No plastic bags or wreaths will be picked upThis is a one-time pickup.  If residents miss the deadline, trees may be taken to the Wallingford Compost Area at no charge.

Wallingford residents may recycle their natural Christmas trees at the Compost Area on John Street on Monday, Thursday and Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm through Saturday, January 13, 2017Trees must be brought to the Compost Center by January 13The Compost Area will be CLOSED from January 15 to March 15, 2018, reopening Thursday, March 15, 2018.
